On behalf of the association and the WMU we want to extend our deepest appreciation to Jeff Missionary for trying to host the quarterly WMU/Baptist Men’s meeting.  TWICE they cooked and prepared and TWICE the weather forced us to cancel the meeting.  THANK YOU LADIES FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK AND SWEET ATTITUDES

The church family at Airport Gardens gives praise for their new pastor, Adam Feltner and his wife Fran, who began their ministry there last November.  Since then they have welcomed three by letter and one by baptism and look forward to all God is going to do in the future.  They had a Valentine Dinner and will have a gospel singing March 15.

Willow Fern celebrated Pastor Clell Miller’s birthday with special singing and a dinner following the service.    In February Ruth Miller organized a Health Fair at the church with doctors, nurses, and pharmacists who are members of the church.  Approximately 75 received blood pressure and blood sugar screening as well as several others plus vital information.  Sadly they lost a charter member but rejoiced that they had one baptism.

Pastor Densmore Goodson, Upper Second Creek, had an unusual opportunity to share the difference Christ has made in his life at a Wild Game Dinner hosted by Calvary Campus in Letcher County.  The 60 attendees enjoyed a flyfishing demonstration by Goodson and several dishes of venison, elk, duck, and rabbit.
